LinkedIn Posts on Conscious Capitalism

What timing!

Last night was a “double header” as they would say in baseball.

The first event I attended was the monthly Conscious Capitalism Dallas meeting. I experienced “speed networking” thanks to my colleagues on the programming committee, Julie Michelle Morris and Christopher Carrion.

Thanks to our sponsor, First United Bank, and our host, J. Byron Pascoe, the experience was memorable!

The second event overlapped with the first.

On my way home, I stopped by our Dallas Improving office to learn from one of my mentors and friends, Ravi Verma (PST, CPCC, CRP).

I saw folks from the agile community that I had not connected with in a time.

Overall, it was an evening well invested in learning and building community.

How has your week been progressing?

What “fun” activities have you been participating in outside of work?

The rainstorms did not stop folks from showing up last night to our Dallas Improving office.

I hosted the Entrepreneurs and Innovators Council last evening.

Gerard Ibarra, PhD shared his journey building start-ups, most recently KeepItSaved.

Events, like these, keep me connected with the local community. I learn so much from business leaders like Gerard when I attend these meetups.

I’m grateful to Jeannie Lewis bringing this group to Improving. It allows us an opportunity to put Conscious Capitalism into action.

It was great being in the room to share a giving experience.

Last night, Conscious Capitalism Dallas celebrated supporting The National Autism Association of North Texas.

We learned about their operation and how they are an all-volunteer, run not-for-profit organization.

Thank you for hosting us, First United Bank and J. Byron Pascoe!

Our Give Back events demonstrate the concepts of Conscious Capitalism at work.
