What an incredible end to a productive week.
On May 9th and 10th, months of planning came together for a restart of the annual Conscious Capitalism Conference.
Over 300 people registered to attend the event.
It was well worth all the effort and energy invested to create a memorable experience.
Many people worked behind the scenes to make the conference possible. Here are some of the folks that joined in the build a memorable experience.
Brian Wing, Bethany Hilton, Mike Sullivan, Andrea Giannini, Lauren Law, Dawn Dearstone,
Kristin Johnson, Caitlin LeMarie, Karen Sammon, and Curtis Hite
It was a pleasure working with xchange and Carey Smolensky Productions / CSP Worldwide as well as the team at the Fairmont Dallas.
Here’s to all the wonderful memories that were created and challenges that were accepted from the event!
Day 2 of the Conscious Capitalism, Inc. Conference.
More compelling insights were shared by Carolyn Sakstrup, Curtis Hite, John Mackey, and Rand Stagen.
Reflecting on the entire experience has been challenging. There is so much to unpack.
Generally, I don’t get overwhelmed by conferences. This was different.
My summary for that is this:
A genuine care and concern for humanity with the goal of giving everyone the opportunity to create value.
The word “generative” has consistently stood out.
Challenges to move to higher ground, setting aside differences to fix what is broken.
Encouragement to distill and live into purpose so that it fill the space between people.
Recognizing that life is a series of experiments that will allow people to find better ways of creating value.
Embracing what makes each of us unique, standing out, and creating value for each other.
All these thoughts lead to generative actions and responses.
If you attended the conference, please share your thoughts as well.
Day 1 of the Conscious Capitalism, Inc. Conference was AMAZING (thank you, Allana Luterman, for encouraging me to add “amazing” to how I talk).
I learned from Sam Horn, Miki Argawal, and Lynne Twist yesterday. They helped me reorient on several things that will help how I view the world going forward.
Day 2 is about to get underway!
Day Zero.
It’s “go time” and I’m excited about the next two days.
I’m an “acts of service” kind of person. Being able to support Conscious Capitalism, Inc. is a pleasure that has come by way of Improving.
The next few days of posts are sure to generate FOMO.
Here’s to learning and growing!
P.S. I’m also representing my friends at Success North Dallas 😁
