LinkedIn posts on Work – #LifeatImproving

Yesterday was an enjoyable day, for me, in the Dallas Improving office.

Seeing colleagues and celebrating birthdays is always a pleasure. Bringing people together is part of what I enjoy as an Improver.

The conversations around work, family, and life remind me that we’re having similar experiences. This helps give me perspective and encourages me to focus on outcomes I can influence.

As well, it inspires me to involve my colleagues for challenges that are outside my expertise. Learning and growing professionally are encouraged.

Our culture is intentionally defined. It is influenced by Conscious Capitalism.

As well, the way we prefer to work is intentionally chosen. It is influenced by agile as a philosophy and scrum as a framework.

We build products to solve our own problems, and we help clients to do the same.

As an IT services company, we are trying to change the perception of our profession for everyone’s benefit.

For me, this is what life at Improving represents.

I attended InnoTech Conferences Dallas event yesterday afternoon.

It was wonderful seeing Anuradha Aravindh Raj and Yeshwant Muthusamy, Ph.D. at the event.

As well, I met Mei Lin, PMP ACP LPM in real life! This was after being connected, here, on LinkedIn for quite a while.

Fanny Dunagan‘s presentation on LinkedIn content creation was insightful. I was delighted to support my friend and learn from her as well.

It was wonderful to see Fanny’s topic pack a room at the end of the conference!

Were it not for this platform, sharing these experiences would not happen.

Writing of platforms, I’m going to make a plug for cloud platforms.

When considering software product development, do you consider cloud platforms as a “first choice” for your approach?

How does LinkedIn move from online to “in real life”?

May I submit to you, “community”.

Anuradha Aravindh Raj and I have been connected on LinkedIn for quite a time. I’ve watched her learn on her product development journey and share with people in the community.

It was a wonderful surprise when we met on Monday evening during the ROI-Based Agile Coaching meetup. She is a part of the Rezoomex team that came to facilitate a mini-workshop!

Being in the same place with online connections is what LI is all about. We’re here to learn, grow, and share.

At Improving we support growing community in our communities. As a partner in Conscious Capitalism, Inc.‘s mission, we understand the value of bringing people together.
